Yfinis
I couldn't sleep the night before my last paper; ended up having 5 hours of sleep and now it's 8:45 pm, I've been out since 8 am (and am still out at my mum's office, waiting for her to be done with her work) and I'm dead like a dog.
Not really, but I've been pretty sedated today because of my lack of sleep. So A's ended but I don't feel any exhilaration at all. Weird. The next few days are packed, plenty of activities to distract me, which is good I guess. Class chalet and prom and that sort of thing and I need to learn how to do eye makeup properly.
Went to cut my hair today! It's shorter and I've got sort of bangs across my forehead but it's annoying because they keep on sweeping down into my eyes. And it turns out that Leslie the salsa teacher works at the Jean Yip hairdressing place in P.S. Obviously he doesn't remember me, but how funny :)
Felt sort of lonely today despite being around so many people. I guess it had something to do with my tiredness. Had dinner with my classmates and they were all joking and laughing. I just sort of quietly ate, joining in when they teased me and whatever, mostly happy doing my own thing with my food. It was nice being around them though, even though I was a bit sad towards the end because I remembered. Spent a lot of money though; I had about $40 in my wallet at the beginning of the day and nearly all of it is gone. Argh. And there's class chalet tomorrow so I'll probably need to ask for more money.
Glad I'm free even though I still don't feel free. Maybe soon I will.
Zhen, it's been 7 days! By next week's Project Runway episode it'll be less than a week!
I like to keep my spirits up.

Ycounting
Okay, things are going to look up. I keep telling myself that after every paper. It's a bit like when I was running 5 k with Zaneta during Dorcas' birthday and we were counting the white markings on the track--1200m...1100m...1000m...--and you keep your mind focused on that because the next marking will pop up soon enough, just you wait and see, and soon you'll be down to the just 100m and you'll get to the traffic light. After that's a little more but you don't think about the last 1 km you have to run yet.
Just focus on the little white markings on the road.

YI see it! I see the light!
9 down, 5 to go! The worst is over...I think. Two weeks more and I'll be free :)
Up for grabs after A's:
Jac needs more space to store all the new books and clothes she's going to buy after A'levels, so she's giving away her A'level books/notes. Contact her if you're interested! (ps: they're free)
Early Bird Specials
1 math TYS (1995-2005)
1 set of European history notes (I doubt anyone wants this; I'm not sure if anyone's gonna be taking European history after this year. But it's really interesting! If you can decipher my handwriting)
Heinemann edition of King Lear with annotations (FREE gift: notes from King Lear, bonus--some of them are from VJC!)
Heinemann edition of Measure for Measure (FREE gift: notes on characters, with important quotes)
Pirated photocopy of Geoffrey Chaucer's The Merchant's Tale, with a critical analysis and annotations (PLUS notes on characters & important quotes, bonus extra synopsis of Tale--it's 3 pages long!)

Nearly-complete Hwa Chong main college econs notes from J1 & J2 (FREE: additional notes and summaries attached)
2006 Top JC prelim papers and model answers (NJ, HC, VJ, RJ, ACJC, plus random notes I've gathered from nice people. This will probably be helpful for prelims next year; for the real thing you should go around getting the 2007 prelim papers)
Regular Deals (in stock after 29th Nov)
Pirated photocopy of William Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience (EXTRA: a very thick stack of commentaries)
Photocopy of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale, with annotations

I can partially slack today because my next paper is PC on Friday and you don't need to study for that. I have to study for History on Monday though; that's a killer. But w00t! Things are going to get better.
(p.s. If you're trying to post a comment, use the blogger comments function; enetation's gotten a bit wonky)
